Booking Conditions

  • TOUR PACKAGE:

Your tour price includes transportation, (all modes listed), fuel, accommodation, local taxes, services of a professional tour director, meals as indicated on itinerary, admission to attractions specified, and luggage handling. Price does not include lunch or any other than those indicated on final itinerary…

Best Travel makes every effort to ensure all arrangements and the fact that services connected with your tour will be carried out as exactly as specified in the most efficient way possible. However, we don’t have direct control over the provision of services by our suppliers and whilst they are selected with the utmost care we don’t accept liability for errors, omissions and failure to provide services.

It is of great importance to note that Best Travel reserve the full right to adjust and make necessary changes on the itinerary or services mainly due to occasional unforeseen circumstances and, also, reserves the right to substitute accommodations listed with other ones of similar category. Porterage, gratuities, meals (except where otherwise noted), telephone calls, and any other items of personal nature are subject to client’s full responsibility to keep an eye on.

  • DEPOSITS:

In order to proceed with your booking, Best Travel requires a nonrefundable deposit of 30% of the total cost in case of cancellation. This deposit will be deducted from your total trip cost, the remain balance has to be payable upon your arrival, by card or cash in Euros, Moroccan Dirhams, Pound, USD or Canadian Dollars.

As soon Best Travel receives receipt of your deposit we will send you a confirmation email with your confirmed travel itinerary.

The deposit can be made at least 2 days before starting the tour. Please note that reservations are better to be made as early as possible especially if you are travelling in the peak season (Christmas and Easter).

If a deposit or balance becomes overdue and we cannot contact you, your reservation will be canceled.

  • CANCELLATIONS:

In general any cancellations made by a client before due arrival date must be done in writing by email. The date on which the company receives the correspondence will determine the cancellation charge, if any. Charges will be applied from the date the cancellation notification is received, or the email is acknowledged by us, according to the scale below.

The charges are applied as a percentage of the total holiday cost excluding any amendment charges and any amounts paid in addition to the deposit at the time of booking or before balance due date which are non refundable in the event of cancellation.

  • 20 to 15 days before due arrival date: 50 % of total tour price must be funded

  • 14 to 0 days before due arrival date: 100% of total tour price must be funded.

There is no refund if you cancel your holiday after departure due to illness of yourself, a family member or a travelling companion.

Your Tour Experience

OUR STRATEGY & WORK CONDITIONS:
1) In order to break all barriers! We are not a travel agency, you are not clients, we are friends traveling together.

2) Honesty, if any simple thing is not going well, inform the manager or tour guide right away.

2) Be open minded, ask as more as you can, welcome to any question in any subject.

3) Ask the guide or the driver wherever and whenever you would like to stop for pictures or whatever.

4) At Best Travel we take special consideration to respect the local environment and the communities we visit along our treks. We ask that guests also follow our policies and respect the local environment and culture.

  • ACCOMMODATION:

Before suggesting any accommodation, Best travel manager go visit and make a selection based on four standards: the view, the food, the comfort and stuff. After the selection, we still depend and take in consideration the feedback of our customers.

  • SMOKING POLICY:

All motorcoaches are non-smoking, but rest stops are frequent. Please be considerate of those clients who may have allergies to smoke.

  • DIETARY NEEDS:

On tours with included meals, please advise us of your special needs at time of booking so that we can notify our suppliers. We can advise scheduled times for meals about one month before departure.

  • ITINERARY NOTES:

Some tours have choices for attractions or accommodation, and sometimes there are attractions that are an additional cost and listed as optional.

Please choose these options when you book your tour as some are limited in space.

If you wish to leave the tour at any time to visit friends and family, you are certainly welcome to do so. Please ensure that the tour director is informed.

  • TRAVEL INSURANCE:

Insurance is not included in tour fares, but it is available for purchase. We strongly recommend purchasing insurance to protect the nonrefundable portion of your fare and to provide coverage for unexpected events.

  • SPECIAL NEEDS:

If you require ongoing assistance in any way, you must be accompanied by a travelling companion who will be fully responsible for your needs while on tour. Your tour director cannot provide ongoing assistance. Some tours may not be suitable due to the level of activity, so please discuss your needs with us when you book your tour.

  • GRATUITIES:

Gratuities are at your discretion and are a significant part of income in these professions and a part of the culture. Following client requests to include tour director and driver tips in the tour fare, we conducted a survey; the feedback was overwhelmingly opposed to including tips. In general, the guidelines are between 10% & 20% of the total price per each tour director and driver. The most discreet method is to place the tip in an envelope and on the final day either hand it to the tour director or driver or leave it on her/his seat.

It’s always depends if you are satisfied with service or not, but here are some general guidelines:

   • Tour guide and driver: 10-20% of the total price per each

   • Local guides: $4-10 per person for every 3 hours of service.

   • Meals: In general 12-15% of the pre-tax bill.

   • Chambermaid: $2 per person per night – this is especially important when you have multiple nights in one hotel.

   • Luggage handling: $1 per bag.

Note: Tip for luggage handling at hotel is usually included.

   • Transfer driver with luggage handling: $2 -5 per person.
