Morocco's highest falls and the second tallest waterfall in North Africa, located by picturesque Berber village of Tanaghmeilt, in the rolling foothills of High Atlas Mountains, Ouzoud is a collective name for several waterfalls tumbling 361 feet (110 meters), through an impressive red-rockCanyon pouring in El Abid River, rainbows in the mists, and some friendly Barbary apes swinging around the olive groves, offering some of Morocco's stunning iconic landscapes. The word ‘Ouzoud’ in Berber (Tamazight language) means "the act of grinding grain", and a lot of the buildings there happened to be grinding mills which utilized the water force.
